from Copenhagen to Helsingborg direct, once or twice daily in 2 hrs.;

From Copenhagen to Helsingbr (44 Kil.); thence by steam-ferry
across the Sound, here only 4 Kil. broad, in 20 min., see pp. 422-24.
The Swedish custom-house formalities take place on the quay
at Helsingborg. An inscription by the landing-place records the
arrival of Charles John (Bernadotte), as unanimously elected crown-
prince of Sweden, on 20th Oct., 1810 (p. Hi).
Helsingborg. — The Central Station (p. 57; PI. B, 3) is on the 8.
side of the town, 6-7 min. from the market. The Harbour Station for the
Gotenburg trains is at the steam-ferry landing-stage.
