Since Paul Easterling Bryan entered Col¬
lege as a Freshman, in the year of our Lord
nineteen hundred and three; he has continually
made himself decidedly felt. In fact, though
rather diminutive in stature, Easterling is not
of such a nature as to allow himself to be easily
overlooked or ignored. He has stamped the
impress of his forceful character deep in col¬
lege life. Few, if any, men in college are so
well rounded in their make-up as lie. As a
student, his record bears him out as standing
among the leaders of his class. As a speaker
and debater his forcefulness and eloquence have
won him a place among the foremost ranks.
As an athlete, he also possesses somewhat of a
"rep" as he is conceded to be the best second-
baseman in school and as captain of his team
has repeatedly led it to victory. Many times
and oft have the ladies come to dread his charms
for he is wont to hold them hanging upon the
itterances of his lips till the small hours of
morning, yea, till the crowing cock proclaimed
the approaching arrival of the cook.
