not the only evil. What is worse, the spoiled
child, seeing the mother opposed to her husband,
takes sides with her and regards the father as an
enemy.
Unity, therefore, unbroken, uniform; perpetual
unity of the father and the mother, of the wife
and the husband, is an essential condition of
successful child-training.
