Wisdom is a gem of inestimable value.

of one class of men above another, than
their pre-eminence in wisdom. For the
various arts of civilized life, the innu¬
merable comforts and conveniences we
enjoy, to which the native children of
the forest are entire strangers; we are
indebted to the operations of superior
