Amazing grace. C. M.
I Amazing grace ! how sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me !
I once was lost, but now am found,
Was blind, but now I see.
2 'Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,
And grace my fears relieved;
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed!
_3 Through many dangers, toils, and snares
I have already come ;
'Tis grace has brought me safe thus far,
And grace will lead me home.
4 The Lord has promised good to me,
His word my hope secures ;
tie will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures.
5 Yes, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess, within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.
'6 The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,
The sun forbear to shine ;
But God, who called me here below,
Will be forever mine.

Rom. iv. 16-25.
CM.
Father of Jesus Christ, my Lord,
My Saviour and my Head,
I trust in thee, whose powerful word
Hath raised him from the dead.
Thou know'st for my offence he died,
And rose again for me;
Fully and freely justified,
That I might live to thee.
Eternal life to all mankind
Thou hast in Jesus given ;
And all who seek, in him shall find
The happiness of heaven.
All nations of the earth are blest
In him, who would restore,
And take them all into his rest,
And bid them sin no more.
O God. thy record I believe,
In Abrah'm's footsteps tread;
And wait, expecting to receive
The Christ, the promised Seed!
C. Wesley.
Doxology. C. M.
Let God the Father, and the Son,
And Spirit be adored,
Where there are works to make him known,
Or saints to love the Lord.
